Commuters will recognize the name of this Internet magazine as that of the slow train that makes all stops and covers the 33 miles between Grand Central Terminal and Croton-Harmon station in little more than an hour. Lying in the shadow of the massive Croton Dam, and famous as the starting point of the Old Croton Aqueduct that first brought water to Gotham, Croton-on-Hudson, a small village at the confluence of the Hudson and Croton rivers, is rich in history.
